Objective

The goal of Slap!n is to collect all the cards in the deck.

What you get
  • A 52-card playable deck divided into 4 colored suits: orange, red, blue, and green
    • Each suit contains 13 cards
    • The first 4 cards of each suit are Action Cards (16 total)
    • Cards numbered 5 through 13 are Regular Cards
  • 1 SLAP! card
  • 2 Rule Cards

How to Play

1. Setup
  • Shuffle the deck.
  • Deal the cards evenly to all players.
  • Each player keeps their cards face-down in a stack in front of them.

2. Starting the Game
  • Decide who goes first.
    (A common rule is the player to the left of the dealer, then play continues clockwise.)
  • The first player places the top card from their stack face-up in the center of the table.
  • Players take turns doing the same, placing one card at a time on the center pile.

3. Winning a Pile

You can win the pile by being the first to SLAP! when a valid combination appears, such as:

  • A Double — two cards in a row with the same number (example: 7, then 7)
  • Action Cards (follow the action card rules)

SLAP!
  • When a valid combination appears, any player can slap the center pile.
  • The first player to slap wins the entire pile and adds it to the bottom of their stack.

4. Continuing Play
  • The player who wins the pile restarts the game by flipping over the top card from their stack into the center.
  • Play continues as usual until another valid combination appears.

5. Elimination & Comeback
  • A player who runs out of cards is eliminated.
  • Eliminated players can jump back into the game if they are the first to slap:
  • A Double, or
  • The SLAP! Card

Winning the Game

The game ends when one player has all the cards.

Action Cards

There are four types of Action Cards. These cards challenge the next player to respond!

Types of Action Cards
  • Play 1 – The next player gets 1 chance to draw another Action Card
  • Play 2 – The next player gets 2 chances
  • Play 3 – The next player gets 3 chances
  • Play 4 – The next player gets 4 chances

How Action Cards Work
  • When an Action Card is played, the next player must place cards one at a time from the top of their stack.
  • They must draw another Action Card within the allowed number of chances.
  • If they succeed, play passes to the next player, who must now respond to the new Action Card.
  • If the player does not draw an Action Card within their allowed chances, the entire pile goes to the player who played the Action Card.

SLAP! Card
  • There is one SLAP! Card in the deck.
  • When the SLAP! Card is played, any player can slap the pile.
  • The first player to slap the pile wins it immediately!
